Project 300 — India’s Cinderella Story in Endurance Sport

Every sport has its fairy tale. For us, that story began with a dream — to help an Indian athlete run 300 km in 24 hours.

It wasn’t about chasing glory. It was about asking a simple, uncomfortable question: what would it take to truly push the limits of human endurance in India?

Instead of throwing money at the problem, we built a system from the ground up — a first-of-its-kind effort by a private company to bring together some of the best minds in performance science:
    •    Abhishek Jagan  – Sports Scientist
    •    Santosh Padmanaban – Running Coach
    •    Vivek Gopi  – Biomechanics Expert
    •    Samanvita Ravikanti  – Sports Nutritionist

In the past, Indian athletes trained in silos — each expert working alone. We broke that pattern. We created a fully integrated performance team, where data, science, and experience came together for one goal.

What started as a project for one athlete grew into a movement. We ended up supporting nine others, and the results speak louder than any headline:
    •    3 men’s national records
    •    2 women’s national records
    •    3 personal bests

At the heart of this journey was Enerjiva, NEB’s in-house supplement brand. But a supplement only performs when the system around it works. Once we built that foundation, Enerjiva delivered flawlessly — not a single gut issue in 24 hours of running.

We didn’t reach 300 km this time. But we built something far more important — a blueprint for high-performance sport in a country where infrastructure is scarce and belief is rarer.

Against the odds, in a system that barely acknowledges endurance sport, a small team of dreamers created something extraordinary.
That’s what makes it a Cinderella story.

And this is just the first chapter.
